- To provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital before and after a tornado impacts the campus, structural integrity of the buildings and availability of normal operational services.
- To provide the continuation of care for patients, visitors and those seeking care post incident including the potential for full or partial evacuation.
